XMR Hub exists to be the one place for Monero: buying, swapping, using, mining and reading about it.
We want to be the catalyst for the Monero revolution. Whether you've never touched crypto or you've been here for years, it should be easy to learn more, buy some, and see how simple Monero really is.
As a community we've faced delistings, FUD and setbacks. We keep building anyway, because privacy wins in the end.
Your donation helps more people buy, use, mine and learn about Monero. Thank you for your support.
Put your mark in front of people who actually use Monero: a sponsor pill on the home page, sponsored cards in the directory, a mark on the memes page or a band on the forum. Placements are always labelled as sponsored and never dressed up as editorial picks.
Only visibly. A sponsored placement is always marked as sponsored. The wording, judgment and treatment of everything unsponsored stays untouched.

An indicative market rate: CoinGecko's average across exchanges, refreshed every minute. A real swap is priced by the exchange partner and includes its fees. More about rates
Swap 30+ coins to and from XMR with no account. A swap is priced by the exchange partner at that moment and includes its fees, so it can differ from the indicative rate above.
Monero (XMR) is a cryptocurrency built for private payments. Its blockchain hides who sent a payment, who received it and how much moved, using ring signatures, stealth addresses and confidential transactions, so balances and payment histories are not public the way they are on Bitcoin.
It launched in 2014 with no premine and is mined with RandomX, an algorithm made for ordinary computer processors. People use it to pay for goods and services, to send money across borders and to keep their finances out of public view.
The rate comes from CoinGecko, which averages Monero's price across the exchanges that trade it, weighted by volume. XMR Hub's server asks for XMR in US dollars, euros, pounds, bitcoin, ether, gold and silver at most once a minute and shares that answer with every visitor, and this page asks for the newest one every minute while it is open. USDT is the dollar price divided by Tether's own dollar price; pairs without Monero are worked out through XMR.
These are indicative market prices, not offers to trade. The time under the converter shows when the price was last updated. If the feed falls behind, the converter says how old the rate is; after six hours without fresh data it shows no rate at all. Everything you type stays in your browser.

Get a simple introduction to Monero and why it’s important.
Monero (XMR) is digital cash that is private by default. Every transaction hides who sent it, who received it and how much moved, so every coin is identical and can’t be blacklisted. It launched in 2014, has no premine and no company behind it.
A deep dive into the history of Monero, its future, challenges and the future of currency.
From CryptoNote and Bytecoin to RingCT, Bulletproofs and the upcoming FCMP++ upgrade, Monero has shipped a decade of privacy research. Its community-funded model means no VC can steer it.

A wallet holds your keys, not coins. Your 25-word seed phrase is the master backup, write it down on paper or steel and never share it. Popular wallets: Cake Wallet, Feather, Monero GUI, Stack.

Monero uses RandomX, which is optimised for ordinary CPUs, so ASICs don’t dominate. Run XMRig with P2Pool (or Gupax for a GUI) and you’re helping decentralise the network.
To receive Monero, simply provide the sender your XMR address.
Share a subaddress (starts with 8) for each payer. Funds arrive in ~2 minutes and unlock after 10 confirmations (~20 minutes).
Sending Monero is easy: choose the amount and double-check the address.
Paste the address, enter the amount, review the fee (usually under a cent) and send. Always verify the first and last characters of the address.

Ring signatures hide the sender among decoys while confidential amounts hide the value, with math proving no coins are created from nothing.
Every Monero input is signed as one of a ring of possible spenders (currently 16 decoys), so an observer can't tell which one truly spent. Ring Confidential Transactions, live since 2017, add Pedersen commitments that hide the amounts too, with a range proof guaranteeing each amount is non-negative so the supply can never be secretly inflated.
Short, fast zero-knowledge range proofs that shrank Monero transactions by around 80% and slashed fees.
Before Bulletproofs, the range proofs that prevent amount inflation were huge. Bulletproofs (2018) replaced them with a logarithmic-size proof, cutting transaction size and fees dramatically. Bulletproofs+ arrived in the v15 hard fork (2022), trimming proof size and verification time even further.
The CPU-friendly proof-of-work that keeps mining in the hands of ordinary people, not specialised ASIC farms.
RandomX runs random programs in a virtual machine tuned for general-purpose CPUs and their large caches, a workload where custom ASIC and GPU rigs gain little advantage. The result: anyone with a laptop can mine meaningfully, keeping hash power spread across many independent hands.
Full-Chain Membership Proofs, Monero’s next major upgrade, replacing decoy rings with a proof against every output ever made.
Today's ring signatures hide you among 16 decoys. Full-Chain Membership Proofs++ instead prove your input belongs to the entire set of outputs on the chain, so the effective anonymity set becomes the whole blockchain. Built on new curve trees, it hugely strengthens sender privacy while keeping proofs practical to verify.
Each wallet has two key pairs: the spend key moves funds, while the view key only sees incoming ones.
Your private spend key authorises spending. Your private view key lets you, or an auditor you choose, detect incoming payments without being able to spend them. This split powers things like a shop watching for payments or sharing a view key for transparency, all while your coins stay safe.
Unlimited addresses from one wallet. Give a fresh one to every payer and nobody can link them, backed up by a single seed.
A subaddress (it starts with 8) is derived from your main account, so funds sent to any of them land in the same wallet and only your 25-word seed is needed to restore everything. Handing out a new subaddress per sender stops outsiders from linking your separate payments together.
Your own copy of the blockchain. Run one and you verify your own transactions instead of trusting someone else’s server.
monerod downloads and validates the full chain. Pointing your wallet at your own node means you broadcast and confirm transactions without leaking which outputs are yours to a third-party server. It also strengthens the network by relaying blocks and transactions for everyone else.
A decentralised mining pool with no operator and no fees, paying out directly to your wallet.
Traditional pools are run by a company that controls payouts and sees its miners' data. P2Pool is a peer-to-peer sidechain: miners share work and get paid directly on-chain, with no central operator, no account and near-zero fees. Together with RandomX it keeps Monero mining genuinely trustless.
Straight from the researchers and maintainers who build Monero. No middlemen, no gurus.
Every system that challenged central banking has been dismantled, co-opted or crushed. Monero is different. There's no company to subpoena, no CEO to arrest and no ledger to censor. It defends against all of that by design.

During the last bull run, one funny thing happened and no one noticed.
The demand for monero is world wide and massive, it spans continents and no matter what language or race.. everyone with a pulse wants it. When I found out that china had a whole underground crypto economy I was baffled and yet not surprised.. lets dive in
CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: Go all In on Monero and get rid of your shitcoins on xmrhub.org/swap.There has been major headlines that “China banned Bitcoin” “China banned crypto” all the way from 2013 to now even in 2026 almost 13 years later. Lets look at the full timeline shall we?
In 2013 & 2017 there were initial restrictions which only targeted banks involvement in crypto transactions and banned ICOS (Initial coin offerings). In September of 2021 a joint directive by the peoples bank of China and nine other agencies declared that all cryptocurrency related business activities illegal.
Which on paper stated that it banned trading, exchanges and mining to fight capital flight and financial crime. Fast forward to 2026 and regulators issue a “Ban 2.0” otice that reaffirmed the total prohibition on virtual currencies which banned off shore digital yuan creation, to make sure that the state controlled digital yuan (e-CNY) can circulate as a digital currency.
As of 2026 China has a $35B underground market primarily using USDT. They are able to acquire crypto through many offshore exchanges that accept the yuan like HTX, OKX and binance. While its technically illegal in china to do so, if its unenforced than it quite literally doesnt matter what it says on paper. Laws are only followed if they are enforced.
For example holding crypto in china is a legal grey area and enforcement has never taken place. Chinese courts typically refuse to protect crypto related contracts or disputes and if you lose funds though a scam, hack or failed transaction you have absolutely 0 legal recourse.
Trading and P2P activity are often unenforced and they mainly rely on an automated system which at most revokes your bank card and yet doesn’t automatically mean jail. There has been no documented cases of this either, meaning that people buying crypto often dont worry about it and its caused a multi billion dollar flow of yuan to crypto.
For running a business like exchanges, mining operations or tokenizing.. enforcement is aggressive and deliberate. The Supreme People’s Procuratorate actively pursues criminal charges against individuals and organizations for fraud, money laundering, and illegal business operations, working closely with public security. China is frequently described as the gold standard for harsh enforcement, having systematically dismantled mining operations since the 2017 exchange and ICO ban
HTX is the only way that Chinese people can buy Monero directly with fiat. The only other avenue is buying usdt or bitcoin and swapping to Monero which can cause a flag of kyc depending on which provider they use.
In janurary of 2026 as law enforcment was closing in and seemingly arresting many who were using the underground market in china and usdt, there was a flight capital as they saw many friends lose it all. Whispers and rumors of relaunching the market with Monero (XMR) as its private, cheap to use, fast and cant be frozen or traced like Bitcoin. This caused a violent surge in buying pressure which only compounded once westen people began to hear these whispers
At the end of the day it shot all the way up to $1,100 on HTX as people kept buying monero. Western exchanges refused to acknowledge it and began to freak out. A few days later as we are still trading at ATH’s… ZachXBT makes a post blaming the entire run on a hack, which nuked the price in its entirety nearly -50%.

On January 10, 2026 at around 11 pm UTC a victim lost $282M+ worth of LTC & BTC due to a hardware wallet social engineering scam.
, ZachXBT (@zachxbt) January 16, 2026
The attacker began converting the stolen LTC & BTC to Monero via multiple instant exchanges causing the XMR price to sharply increase.
BTC was also…
No further proof was ever provided and this was the third time zach has done this during a monero run. Note: ZachXBT works for binance who de-listed Monero and sees XMR as a threat. Monero is a threat because 99% of crypto is fugazi and fake with no real buyers.. meaning that exchanges have to prop up the price in order to keep people interested and to prevent the coin from going to literal 0. We saw this happen 10-10-2025 with many coins.
Why would ZachXBT post nuke the price? It could be argued that the entire run was syntethic and there was no real buying pressure which was the furthest thing from the truth.
In May of 2024, police in Sichuan province dismantled a $1.9 Billion underground banking network that used USDT to bypass foreign exchange controls. The operation led to the arrest of 193 people across 26 provinces and the freezing of 149 Million Yuan ($20,000,000).
In early 2026 Tether froze $344 Million in usdt on the Tron block chain in response to illict activity suspected by the Chinese government and their crack down of the $35B underground market.
There are plenty of cases of USDT being frozen, traced and people being arrested if they paid for something using the money. This has caused many chinese people to look at something different and Monero being the answer to the question.. “Whats a crypto thats relatively stable, private, cheap to use and fast?”
USDT and BTC are still the biggest and most used crypto currencies over there and yet there is a growing case for Monero in china not only due to USDT being frozen and traced but Bitcoin also being public, expensive to use and slow.
Its just a matter of time before the Chinese fully adopt XMR and begin to dump their bitcoin and USDT for it in mass. This could and will shoot Monero to top 5 and $10,000+ overnight while we are sleeping. The more freezing of USDT the better case for monero and the XMR community over there is just getting bigger and bigger, you often seem them on twitter.
As time goes on and more people wake up to the reality of central bank digital currencies, financial privacy being a thing of fiction and their money being frozen.. it becomes a funnel to Monero which is everything bitcoin wanted to be and more.
There will always be a need for underground marketplaces and this has been the proven case for thousands of years, no matter what the laws may say.. the demand for a good or service triumphs it all.
The Chinese can already easily get Monero and as their USDT gets frozen, tracing arrests happen and more it will push more and more to find an alternative. These underground markets are never going to go away and with the digital yuan locking many outside of the financial system people are going to demand an alternative
When they learn that XMR is private, fast, cheap and better in everyway than bitcoin and usdt.. its going to be a shitstorm just like what we saw on HTX. The Chinese tend to be more prone to fomo than anyone else, they will see it flying again and think that this is their last ticket and it might as well be. You’ll see billions flowing into Monero as more people who know about Monero but didn’t pay it much mind freak the fuck out and put all their money in because they know in their heart the true value of the coin.
China, Iran and Russia are ticking time bombs for large Monero buying pressure. When money becomes a weapon people often look for alternatives and there is no better Dollar or Bitcoin alternative than Monero. Stack accordingly
Ask questions, share setups, find trades. Be kind, stay private.

The rules of XMR Hub, in plain language first and legal language where it matters. Last updated 18 October 2026.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and XMR Hub ("XMR Hub", "the platform", "we", "us"). By creating an account, depositing funds, swapping, playing, posting or otherwise using xmrhub.io and its services (the "Services"), you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and you are responsible for making sure that using the Services is lawful where you are. The Services are offered "as available" and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of them at any time.
From time to time we may credit your balance with XMR you did not deposit: welcome bonuses, event prizes, giveaways, rakeback and similar ("Promotional Credits"). Promotional Credits are a gift made on the following conditions. Referral earnings are not Promotional Credits: your share of the house's take from members you refer is earned revenue, is credited to your balance as ordinary funds and is withdrawable like a deposit, subject only to sections 3 and 7.
XP, levels, ranks, badges and unlockables ("Rewards") are granted for genuine participation. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be adjusted, reset or removed at our discretion.
The games are not offered to, and may not be played by, any person who is located in, resident of, or accessing the Services from the United States of America, its territories or possessions, or any other place where playing them would be unlawful. Before the Games section is shown for the first time, you are asked to confirm, by ticking a box in the notice presented, that you are not in the United States and that you accept these Terms. Ticking that box is a representation and warranty you make to us, which we rely on, and it is recorded on your account (or on your device while you are signed out) as your confirmation. It is not a licence to play from a place where playing is unlawful.
Giving a false confirmation, or using a VPN, proxy or any other means to disguise your location, is a material breach of these Terms. In that event any stakes, winnings and related balance may be forfeited to the platform under the consequences set out below, your account may be closed, and we may refuse any withdrawal connected to the breach. We may ask you for evidence of your location at any time and may restrict or block access from any region at our sole discretion. You are solely responsible for determining whether playing is lawful where you are, and you agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your breach of this section.
Platform games are provably fair contests between members. We operate a zero-cheat policy: cheating is never tolerated, in any form, for any stake.
Cheating includes, without limitation: colluding with another player, chip-dumping or deliberately losing to transfer value, using more than one account in the same game or lobby, using bots, scripts, engines or outside assistance in skill games (including chess engines), exploiting a bug, latency, timing or any other defect in the Services, manipulating or interfering with game state, and any other means of gaining an advantage that we have not expressly approved.
We may suspend game access, freeze a balance, void results and reverse settlements while an investigation is open. Findings are made on the balance of evidence available to us, including game logs, timing, device and network signals and account relationships.
You agree not to defraud, exploit or manipulate the platform, its members or its systems. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any user who attempts, whether successfully or not, to fraudulently game the system through any means not expressly approved by the platform, including but not limited to spamming low-quality reviews, posts or messages; farming XP, referrals or promotions; operating multiple or shared accounts; impersonating others; automating interactions; exploiting software defects; interfering with the operation or security of the Services; laundering or structuring funds; or otherwise obtaining Rewards, credits, funds or advantages to which they are not legitimately entitled, shall be subject to disciplinary action at the platform's sole discretion, up to and including removal of content, clawback of Rewards, forfeiture of connected funds, suspension and permanent termination of the account.
You also agree not to use the Services for anything unlawful, to harass or threaten others, to post illegal content, to attempt to access other accounts or non-public systems, or to resell or commercially exploit the Services without our written consent.
